Carol is the daughter of Lucy, the namesake of our foundation. Not one to sit by and just let things happen, she tackled the year after Lucy’s ALS diagnosis with her mom by her side, crying and laughing every step of the way. When not working for the foundation, Carol is a full-time graphic designer. In her spare time, she can be found traveling with her favorite plus one (her loving, supportive significant other, Andrew), reading, knitting, watching Twins baseball and Wild hockey, and spending time with her awesome family and friends.
What is your favorite vacation?
I have so many! I’ve been really fortunate to travel as much as I have. Alaska, San Francisco, Twins spring training in Florida, Seattle and Victoria, British Columbia rank up there with favorite spots. However, I’ll never forget experiencing the Inside Passage with my mom. The look on her face when we saw the mountains in Alaska for the first time together will be something I’ll always cherish.
